Smithfield Foods executives, who run one of the worst-performing large US food makers over the past five years, are set to reap at least US$85.4 million from its sale to Chinese firm Shuanghui International Holdings. The company has been under pressure from its biggest shareholder for lagging behind competitors Hormel Foods and Tyson Foods. Continental Grain, which has a 6.8 per cent stake, said in March that Smithfield should appoint new managers and break itself into three businesses as rising animal-feed costs made its hog-production unit unprofitable.

Snoop brought Death Row in early 2022 with a roster that includes the Dogg himself,  Mount Westmore, and Merkules and a catalog from 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, and others. The collaboration “marks the label’s first official online release since its removal from streaming services in early 2022, and the first-ever catalog reissue to release exclusively through (TikTok’s music distribution platform) SoundOn,” a Death Row Records rep told Music Business Worldwide.

The day after arriving to Hawaii, The Kardashians producer-star Kourtney Kardashian Barker shared an Instagram slideshow of her vacation including two shots of her swimsuit-clad baby bump while relaxing on a beach.
