This week, Louisiana and Missouri argued in front of the Supreme Court that the Biden Administration illegally censored the First Amendment rights of Americans, stifling speech on social media in regard to COVID-19 and the 2020 presidential election. My question is, where was Mississippi? Why wasn’t our state leading or at least joining in the fight to protect our First Amendment right to free speech?
A couple of weeks ago, Tennessee sent National Guard troops to Texas in support of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s bid to secure our southern border, a job that the federal government has refused to do. So, where is everyone else? Where is Mississippi? Why haven’t we sent our own National Guard troops to the border? It’s not like illegal immigration isn’t affecting us here.
