As Glinda says in the musical Wicked, pink goes good with green — and Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo just proved she was right.

In a special preview of the film at CinemaCon yesterday, the two stars appeared in their most Oz-ified outfits in honor of their characters in the film. Grande wore a delightfully girly mini dress that was basically one giant pink flower, the petals radiating out in a circle from the cinched waist. Erivo went for something a little more steampunk — in homage to her fierce character, Elphaba (aka the Wicked Witch of the West), Erivo wore a bright green top, a silver metallic skirt and a pair of shiny thigh-high green boots.

The pair were joined by their Wicked co-stars, Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey, Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage and Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh — a moment for her stunning sheer cerulean pant suit, please!

During the event, the cast shared some sneak previews of the film, including a clip of the pair singing the show-stopping "Defying Gravity and a clip of Grande performing Glinda's famous song "Popular" (a song she actually already sampled with Mika in 2015).

Director Jon Chu got emotional during the presentation, describing Grande and Erivo as "two very gifted, strong young women who were destined to play these roles."

Grande and Erivo also gushed about the experience while holding hands on stage looking like the two besties they portray in the film. "When I was 10 years old, I saw Wicked on Broadway for the first time," said Grande. "I remember it so clearly because that was the instant that I knew I really wanted to play Glinda one day. It became my dream role."

Erivo then recalled her first Wicked experience. "I was 25 and it was my birthday," she said. "I took myself to see [the musical] on a date by myself. But I could never have fathomed even getting the chance to actually play the iconic Wicked Witch."

This isn't the first time Grande and Erivo have repped their Wicked characters — earlier this year at the Oscars, Erivo served major Elphaba vibes with her emerald green manicure, while Grande paid homage to Glinda with a cloud-like pink gown. If their latest appearance is anything to go by, we're willing to bet there will be plenty of other green and pink numbers to come from these two.
